I've come roughly 2,000 miles from Anchorage. I was dropped off in Dawson Creek BC tonight just as the sun was going down, with just enough light to find a good sleeping spot in some lovely bushes between a golf course and a grave yard.
Last night was amazing. I wound up at a birthday party in a hot spring in the middle of the night. I wish to hell I had some pictures to share, but needless to say flash photography would have been frowned upon...It was fun.
Critters added to the list over the last couple of days have been a fox, a bear, more caribou and moose, and more buffalo than you could shake a boom stick at.
The Canadian Rockies are some of my favorite mountains. The only weak part of catching a ride with a long hauler is the lack of stops. I wish I could have taken more pictures.
Happy Thanksgiving Canada!!!
